Job Title: Relationship Banker

The Standard Bank Group is looking for a skilled Relationship Banker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, providing them with expert advice and guidance on banking products and services.

About the Role:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their banking needs are met in a timely and professional manner.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to clients on banking products and services, ensuring they meet their financial goals and objectives.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of banking products and services, staying ahead of industry trends and developments.
  • Demonstrate a high level of professionalism, attention to detail, and adherence to regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • National Certificate in Banking (NQF5 FAIS-recognized qualification or above)
  • 3-5 years' experience in banking or financial services, with a focus on FAIS qualifications and financial advisory roles.
  • Proven sales background, consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets through effective cross-selling and upselling of banking products.
  • In-depth knowledge of banking operations, including account management, transaction processing, and client relationship management.
  • Strong understanding of banking products, policies, and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring client satisfaction.
