Job Title: Assistant Group Financial Manager

iGrow Wealth Investments, a leading property investment company, is seeking a highly skilled Assistant Group Financial Manager to support the Group Financial Manager in overseeing the financial operations of the company and its subsidiaries.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Reporting & Analysis: Assist in preparing and reviewing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for the group and its subsidiaries, providing detailed financial analysis and performance reports.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in the preparation and coordination of annual budgets and periodic forecasts, analyzing variances between budgeted and actual financial performance.
  • Audit & Compliance: Assist in coordinating external and internal audits, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, accounting standards, tax laws, and company policies.
  • Treasury & Cash Management: Assist in managing the group's cash flow and liquidity, overseeing bank accounts, and managing relationships with financial institutions.
  • Financial Operations: Support the management of accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities, ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll, tax submissions, and other financial transactions.
  • Strategic Planning: Work closely with the Group Financial Manager in developing and executing financial strategies that support the overall goals of the group, contributing to financial modeling and analysis for strategic projects, mergers, acquisitions, and capital investments.
  • Team Leadership & Development: Support and mentor junior finance staff, providing guidance and training, and assist in managing the performance of the finance team, ensuring productivity and compliance with company objectives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA/CA or equivalent qualification is highly desirable).
  • 5+ years of experience in financial management, accounting, or a related field, preferably in a group or multi-entity environment.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles (IFRS, GAAP) and financial regulations.
  • Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact with various stakeholders at different levels.
