Job Title: Head of Operations

Rory Mackie & Associates is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Operations to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for the management of the procurement, logistics, and technical compliance functions of our client.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the procurement function, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services.
  • Oversee the logistics function, ensuring efficient and effective movement of goods and materials.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance customer service, increase sales, and efficiency.
  • Lead and direct support staff to ensure the consistent delivery of quality products, on time and on budget.
  • Manage the relationship and deliverables of commercial partners and vendors.

Requirements:

  • Relevant commercial tertiary qualification.
  • At least 10 years' experience in a similar role, ideally in the electronics/technology industry.
  • Strong commercial acumen and analytical skills.
  • Proven leadership ability and experience in international import supply chain management and distribution.
  • Advanced skills in the use of Microsoft Office products.
  • Good prioritizing and time management skills.
  • Cultural sensitivity and good interpersonal skills.
