Business Development Manager

Reporting to: Regional Manager
The company is a dynamic and customer-focused financial services organization recognized for its innovative approach and commitment to exceptional service. With a strong presence in the short-term insurance market, it aims to create lasting relationships with clients through a values-driven culture.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement business strategies to expand the insurance portfolio through direct client interactions.
- Conduct thorough risk evaluations and offer tailored insurance solutions aligned with client needs.
- Track and analyze sales performance to meet or exceed predetermined targets.
- Provide ongoing support to clients, including managing amendments, renewals, and claims processes.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure high-quality service delivery.
Essential:
- Completed Matric or National Senior Certificate.
- 60 FAIS credits/Full Insurance Qualifications.
- Preference for candidates with financial services experience.
- Reliable transport and a valid code B drivers license.
- A minimum of 2 years of external sales experience in the insurance industry.
- Self-starter with a proactive approach to sales.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
