**About the Role:**

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to join our dynamic team. As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Responsibilities:
    • Identify and analyze existing and new customers in designated areas to determine their business potential.
    • Develop and implement effective sales plans to manage customers and drive sales growth.
    • Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to pursue them.
    • Execute sales calls and provide advice and support to customers to meet their needs.
    • Monitor and report on sales performance to ensure sales targets are met.
  • Technical Responsibilities:
    • Develop a deep understanding of power transmission formulae and their application in selecting equipment.
    • Acquire in-depth knowledge of company products, including their catalogues and selection criteria.
    • Develop a knowledge of applications and their impact on equipment selection.
    • Conduct site meetings to evaluate applications and solve operating problems.
    • Perform calculations to size, recommend, and select equipment.
  • Administration Responsibilities:
    • Prepare and submit sales plans and reports.
    • Maintain accurate customer data and activity records.
    • Prepare quotations using sales force tools.
    • Verify delivery status of equipment offered.
    • Process sales orders onto the company computer system.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2-5 years' experience in a trade counter or front counter sales position.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven track record of meeting sales targets.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
