Job Title: Dispatch Supervisor

Frank Consult is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dispatch Supervisor to join our team in Gauteng. As a key member of our logistics department, you will be responsible for overseeing the dispatch of products to various regions, ensuring compliance with all documentation requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • International Exports: Manage and coordinate the dispatch of products to SADC, East Africa, Nigeria, and Senegal through both road and sea, ensuring timely and efficient transportation.
  • Domestic Deliveries: Take charge of all deliveries within South Africa that exceed 400km from our warehouse, coordinating with external transporters to ensure seamless logistics.
  • Product Distribution: Oversee the distribution of imported products to our customers, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
  • Documentation Management: Ensure all documentation, including Certificate of Conformity, Bill of Lading, import permits, vet certificates, and vet inspections, is meticulously handled and maintained.
  • Logistics Coordination: Collaborate with the logistics team to facilitate the timely and efficient transportation of goods.
  • Budget Management: Manage and optimize the dispatch budget effectively, ensuring cost savings and efficiency.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and inspire the dispatch team to achieve their best performance.

Requirements:

  • Any experience with veterinary licensing will be an advantage.
  • Education: A relevant degree or diploma in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience in dispatch management, with a strong track record in international exports and meticulous documentation.
  • Detail-Oriented: Exceptional attention to detail is a must due to the critical nature of documentation in this role.
  • Leadership: Proven experience in leading and managing a team.
  • Budgeting: Proficiency in budget management.
