IT Support Specialist

The IT Assistant will play a crucial role in maintaining the smooth operation of our IT systems at Buffalo International Logistics. This individual will be responsible for providing technical support to staff, troubleshooting issues, and assisting with various IT tasks and projects.
Key Responsibilities- Technical Support: Provide first-level support to employees for hardware, software, and network issues, resolving them or escalating as needed.
- Hardware Maintenance: Assist with the setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting of computer systems, printers, and other peripherals.
- Software Installation: Install, configure, and update software applications on company computers and devices.
- Network Support: Help maintain and troubleshoot network issues, including connectivity, VPNs, and Wi-Fi access.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of support requests, resolutions, and other IT activities, updating IT documentation as needed.
- Asset Management: Assist in inventory management of IT assets, including tracking hardware and software licenses.
- User Training: Provide basic training to employees on IT systems and software applications as required.
- Security: Assist in ensuring the security of IT systems, including managing user accounts, passwords, and access rights.
- A minimum of two years of IT support experience.
- A related qualification.
- Knowledge of networking and cybersecurity.
- Communication and reporting skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Problem-solving skills.
- Technical knowledge.
