Sales Manager Job Description

NexChapter Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Sales Manager to join our team. As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for leading our sales team to achieve revenue growth and exceed sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sales Budget Management: Develop and manage sales budgets to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Operational Planning: Create and implement operational plans to drive sales growth, including quarterly forecasts, plans, objectives, priorities, schedules, and projects.
  • Operational Implementation and Execution Monitoring: Oversee the implementation of sales strategies and monitor progress to ensure timely completion and quality of work.
  • Reporting: Provide regular sales reports to stakeholders, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
  • Problem-Solving and Decision Quality: Analyze sales data and make informed decisions to drive business growth, including escalations, queries, and complaints.
  • Resource and Capacity Management: Manage sales resources, including people, equipment, and workload, to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Skill Levels - Training & Development: Develop and implement training programs to enhance sales skills and knowledge, including coaching and mentoring.
  • Culture and Climate: Foster a positive sales culture and climate, promoting motivation, energy, retention, support, communication, and engagement.
  • Change Capability: Lead the sales team through change, promoting resilience, flexibility, and adaptability.
  • Remuneration: Develop and implement remuneration strategies to attract and retain top sales talent.
