KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

Build strong relationships with customers to drive business growth and achieve sales targets.

Develop a deep understanding of customers' businesses and provide tailored packaging solutions to meet their needs.

Meet and exceed monthly sales budgets and targets through effective sales strategies and customer engagement.

Identify and pursue new business opportunities to fill machine capacity and drive revenue growth.

Respond promptly to customer complaints and concerns, ensuring timely resolution and maintaining a positive customer experience.

Collaborate with customers to manage price increases and ensure mutually beneficial agreements.

Develop and manage sales reports, budgets, and forecasts to inform business decisions and drive growth.

Provide regular forecasts to ensure the right products are available at the right time, meeting customer demands.

Analyze competitors' pricing strategies and customer perceptions to stay ahead in the market.

Lead Design Review meetings for new products and changes to existing products, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

Provide daily reporting on customer interactions and feedback to inform business decisions.

KEY COMPETENCIES

  • The successful candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:
  • Fluency in English and isiXhosa, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • At least 3-5 years of sales experience, preferably in packaging or FMCG, with a proven track record of sales growth and new business sourcing.
  • A post-matric sales or related qualification is advantageous, but not essential.
  • Computer literacy, including proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • A valid driver's license and own transport are required for frequent travel and business development.
  • Comfortable traveling and sourcing business in the Transkei region.
