Southern Africa Sales Manager Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to join our team in Durban. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies to drive business growth and profitability in Southern Africa.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth and expand market share in Southern Africa.
  • Manage and maintain relationships with key customers and suppliers in Southern Africa.
  • Monitor and analyse market trends and competitor activity in Southern Africa to inform sales decisions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align sales efforts with overall business strategy in Southern Africa.
  • Provide sales support to the sales team, including pricing and negotiation advice.
Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in sales roles, preferably in the metals or recycling sector.
  • Proven track record of driving sales growth and achieving business objectives in Southern Africa.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed sales decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external customers in Southern Africa.
