Job Summary

Familiarity with working on Learning Management Systems (LMS) is essential for this role.

We are seeking a skilled Assessor to evaluate learner portfolios, compile assessor reports, and continuously assess learner evidence.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with stakeholders.
  • Constant attention to detail and accuracy in assessing learner evidence.
  • Ability to problem solve effectively and efficiently.
  • Sound decision making and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks.
  • Continuously be in contact with the Project Manager to ensure seamless collaboration.

Skills

  • Basic reading and comprehension skills to understand learner portfolios.
  • The ability to see tasks and projects through to completion.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills to interact with stakeholders.
  • The ability to work at a fast pace while maintaining accuracy.
  • Computer skills to utilize LMS systems and other software.
  • The ability to work to deadlines and manage time effectively.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to respond to changing priorities.
  • The ability to remain self-motivated and focused on tasks.
  • Record keeping skills to maintain accurate records.

Experience & Qualifications Required

Qualifications:

The candidate must have an NQF 6 or higher education in National Certificate: Information Technology: Systems Support NQF 5 related qualification, Registered Assessor in SAQA ID 48573, National Certificate: Information Technology: Systems Support with MICTSETA.

Experience:

Minimum 3-5 years' experience as a registered assessor for the above-mentioned qualification.

Well-versed in the English language and at least one other Official language.
