Role Overview

ACDC Dynamics, a leading manufacturer, importer, and distributor of quality products in the electrical, electronics, pumps, and tools industry, is seeking an experienced and dynamic Sales Representative. The successful candidate will be assigned a set group of customers and tasked with maintaining and developing business-oriented relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Understand the marketplace relative to product offerings and client base demographics.
  • Search for and capitalize on new product opportunities, positioning and branding for the respective product range in client stores.
  • Develop product launch programs, formulate customer days, or product awareness campaigns within the client portfolio, in collaboration with Brand or Category managers.
  • Liaise with Senior Management to ensure sales targets are met.
  • Analyze the current marketplace and provide feedback on important market and competitive information.
  • Train clients on products as required.
  • Execute sales strategies.
  • Generate new leads and develop existing customers.
  • Respond to customer inquiries.
  • Achieve high sales targets and goals.
  • Build new business relationships using existing industry contacts.
  • Give sales presentations to various levels of audiences, as required.
  • Manage employer's expectations, client relationships, and provide excellent service and support.
  • Provide feedback on suggestions for improvement and market research.
  • Deal with and respond to high volumes of emails.
  • Liaise with business partners regarding exhibitions, customer days, etc., and attend these events or arrange them.
  • Formulate quotations and follow up on these.
  • Attend Sales Meetings and provide necessary information/statistics.
  • Plan and submit weekly calls and report on weekly activities.
  • Maintain customer accounts.
  • Attend ad-hoc training sessions.
  • Work on Saturdays, as per the published roster.
  • Find and capitalize on new product opportunities and possible turnkey projects by positioning the ACDC brand in these customers.
  • Manage employer's expectations, client relationships, with exceptional customer service and support.
  • Compile accurate and precise calendar entries with a briefing on what transpired during sales calls.
