Job Title: Executive Assistant

At FirstRand Bank Limited, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Assistant to join our team.

As an Executive Assistant, you will play a critical role in supporting our leadership team and contributing to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Initiate dialogue to build professional working relationships with all stakeholders, displaying excellent abilities to listen, advise, influence, negotiate, and present at all levels.
  • Lead and facilitate difficult conflict situations into consensual agreements.
  • Integrate opinions and information provided by various sources to make strategic decisions.
  • Adapt communication styles to meet the needs of different audiences.
  • Build and sustain collaborative working relationships with relevant peers and stakeholders to achieve productivity synergies.
  • Continually scan the industry to identify opportunities to create strategic partnerships with key individuals and bodies.
  • Identify interconnected problems, determine their impact, and use them to develop best-fit alternatives, driving best-practice solutions.
  • Influence the development of appropriate organizational structures, capacity, and delivery systems. Identify development needs and select effective solutions to address personal development gaps to facilitate self-improvement.
  • Brainstorm, identify, implement, and drive innovative best-practice ideas within the organization to ensure increased efficiencies.
  • Drive strategic projects and ensure change management is implemented effectively.
  • Improve efficiencies to reduce operational risks and costs to serve.
  • Ensure adherence to compliance requirements and that the team is competent and updated on compliance risk and process training.

Requirements:

  • A STEM qualification
  • Solid financial markets experience is key
  • Experience in strategy, new product capability, sales, and client service
