About the Role

Farm Manager SA is seeking a highly skilled and experienced farm manager to oversee sheep and apple production on our farms. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to take charge of a dynamic team and drive the success of our agricultural operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and coordinate the day-to-day activities of the farm, ensuring smooth and efficient operation.
  • Lead a team of experienced farmers and staff, providing guidance and support to achieve exceptional results.
  • Implement best practices in sheep and apple production, adhering to industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, tracking progress and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with suppliers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services.
Requirements
  • Degree or diploma in agriculture or related field.
  • Minimum three years experience in a management role on apple and sheep farms.
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate a team, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Computer literacy and proficiency in software applications relevant to farm management.
  • Mechanical knowledge and valid driver's license an advantage.
