Senior Administrative Officer: Labour Relations

Job Overview

This is a supervisory role that involves overseeing staff, investigating misconduct cases, and representing the employer at disciplinary hearings. The successful candidate will be responsible for case managing disciplinary and grievance matters, providing advice and support to management and employees on labour-related issues, and ensuring compliance with labour statistics and regulations.

About the Role
  • Supervise staff members and ensure they adhere to departmental policies and procedures.
  • Investigate misconduct cases and represent the employer at disciplinary hearings.
  • Manage disciplinary and grievance matters in accordance with company policies and labour laws.
  • Provide guidance and support to management and employees on labour-related issues.
  • Monitor and maintain labour relations statistics and implement interventions as needed.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have relevant experience in labour relations and possess strong leadership skills. You should also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Salary and Benefits

The salary range for this position is estimated to be between R600,000 - R800,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience. In addition to a competitive salary, the successful candidate will receive a comprehensive benefits package, including medical aid, retirement fund contributions, and paid annual leave.
