We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to join our team at The Building Company. In this role, you will be responsible for providing strategic human resource support to our stores, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will have a strong background in HR, preferably in a retail environment. They will possess excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to drive results-oriented initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR strategies and plans
- Manage employee relations and training programs
- Support recruitment and induction processes
- Administer general HR functions and petty cash
- Provide exceptional customer service and manage store vehicles
- Resolve store queries and ensure smooth opening and closing procedures
Requirements:
- Grade 12 qualification
- Degree or diploma in HR or a related field
- 5-7 years' experience in a similar role
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Basic computer skills
