About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Solutions Architect to join our team at Network Contracting. As a key member of our Compliance Solution team, you will play a crucial role in shaping our compliance technology strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop Business Applications: Design and implement business applications and APIs to drive business solutions, leveraging your expertise in backend development languages such as Python, Java, and Golang.
  • Design and Implement Data Workflows: Develop data and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) workflows for effective data integration and processing, ensuring system integrity and security.
  • Automation and Efficiency: Develop automation processes to streamline operations and improve system efficiency, collaborating closely with the Compliance Solution team.
  • Compliance and Security: Ensure system compliance with regulatory standards, identifying and resolving technical challenges to enhance system reliability and performance.
  • Infrastructure and Deployment: Analyze application demands to ensure correct sizing and scaling of infrastructure, driving continuous delivery and release automation processes to improve system deployment and updates.
  • Staying Up-to-Date: Stay updated with market-leading Mobile Money technologies, suppliers, and innovations, applying your knowledge to drive business solutions.
Reporting Line

You will report to the Compliance Solution Architect and play a key role in shaping our compliance technology strategy.

Qualifications and Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
  • Technical Experience: Minimum of 3 to 5+ years of technical experience in a similar role, with proven experience as a Backend Developer or similar position.
  • Language Proficiency: Strong proficiency in backend development languages such as Python, Java, and Golang, with experience with server-side frameworks like Spring Boot.
  • Database Knowledge: Familiarity with databases (SQL and NoSQL), including MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.
  • API Experience: Knowledge of RESTful APIs and experience in building and consuming them.
  • Front-end Technologies: Understanding of front-end technologies like HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
  • Version Control: Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Cloud Platforms: Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform is a plus.
