Job Title: HR Administrator

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented HR Administrator to join our team at Milkor Integrated Systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support in all aspects of human resources, including recruitment, employee records, and benefits administration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drafting employment contracts and employee letters.
  • Maintaining accurate and confidential employee records.
  • Assisting with recruitment administration, including coordinating interviews and onboarding processes.
  • Managing leave requests and updating leave calendars.
  • Administering IOD and COIDA claims.
  • Coordinating general HR administration, including data entry and report generation.
  • Preparing UIF documentation on a monthly basis.
  • Assisting with payroll processing, including ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Conducting reference checks and verifying candidate qualifications.
  • Arranging performance reviews and probationary reviews.
  • Updating various sheets and lists.
  • Compiling minutes of meetings.

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • A Diploma in Human Resource Management/Industrial Psychology is essential; a Degree would be advantageous.
  • A minimum of 2 years experience in an HR role.
  • Experience in the aviation and engineering sector will be beneficial.
  • A valid driver's license.

Salary:

The salary for this position is estimated to be R250,000 - R300,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.

Required Skills & Knowledge:

  • Computer literacy (MS Office, Excel, and Word).
  • A high degree of integrity, confidentiality, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, such as BCEA & LRA.
