Strategic Marketing Coordinator for Environmental Sustainability

About the Role:
HR Genie is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Marketing Coordinator to join our team in Durbanville (Western Cape).
Job Summary:
We are looking for a talented marketing professional with 3-5 years of experience in coordinating and administering marketing campaigns to support our environmental sustainability initiatives.
Main Responsibilities:
- Marketing Campaign Coordination: Assist in the development, execution, and monitoring of marketing campaigns to promote our waste management and recycling services.
- Social Media Management: Manage and maintain our social media presence across various platforms, creating engaging content that highlights our company's activities and values.
- Digital Marketing: Coordinate the updating of our website, create emailers, and manage our brand presentations to ensure consistent messaging across all channels.
- Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the marketing team, including database management, image bank maintenance, and meeting coordination.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Communications or Brand Building degree or equivalent experience;
- Certification in Project Management would be advantageous;
- At least 3-5 years of proven marketing coordination/administration experience gained;
- Experience in media presence, social media, events coordination, and brand management internally;
- Relevant experience gained within the sustainability and waste management/recycling or plastic manufacturing industry will be highly advantageous;
- Excellent planning, organizing, and time-management skills;
- Proficient at communicating internally and externally;
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to form relationships with industry bodies, media, and the general public.
What We Offer:
As a Strategic Marketing Coordinator with HR Genie, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting environmental sustainability projects, develop your skills in digital marketing, and contribute to the success of our company.
Salary: R25,000 - R30,000 per month, negotiable based on qualifications and experience.
