Job Summary:

Executive Placings is seeking an experienced Travel Groups and Incentives Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Destination Management Company, you will be responsible for planning and designing leisure group itineraries, managing reservations, and ensuring exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and design leisure group itineraries, including incentive-specific experiences
  • Manage the reservations process, ensuring timely responses and meeting client budget requirements
  • Handle bookings from quote to finalization, including invoicing and travel documentation
  • Proactively sell products and services to ensure the best possible itinerary for clients
  • Maintain consistent communication with colleagues, agents, guests, and suppliers
  • Occasional travel with groups or site inspections may be required

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of experience in the inbound travel market, with a focus on Southern and East Africa
  • Strong knowledge of Tourplan or similar booking systems
  • Geographical, logistical, and product knowledge of South Africa, Botswana, Tanzania, and Kenya
  • Additional experience in Namibia, Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, Zimbabwe, Zambia, and Mozambique is advantageous
  • A willingness to learn and adapt to new situations

Working Environment:

As a member of our team, you will be based in Sandton, Johannesburg, with occasional travel required. You will be working closely with colleagues, agents, guests, and suppliers to deliver exceptional service and ensure the success of our clients.
