We are seeking a highly skilled Asset Accountant to join our team. As an Asset Accountant, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining accurate financial records related to fixed assets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage Fixed Assets: Process asset transactions, additions, transfers, and disposals on Docuware and Kofax systems.
  • Process Journal Entries: Compile, analyze, and capture journal entries on a monthly basis.
  • Balancesheet Reconciliations: Prepare balance sheet reconciliations on a monthly basis.
  • Reviews and Investigations: Review reconciliations prepared by SSC and investigate any unreconciled items.
Business Development
  • Optimize Technology: Help optimize the use of available technology to improve the flow of information to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Improve Processes: Identify non-value adding processes and drive the implementation of improved accounting processes.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Accounting qualification with 1-3 years of similar experience.
  • Skills: Analytical skills, ability to work under pressure, critically analyze data, high level of integrity and commitment, attention to detail, good interpersonal skills, ability to meet tight deadlines, problem solving.
  • Technical Skills: Good knowledge of internal Financial reporting standards (IFRS), SAP and MS Office an advantage.
