Job Description

At Gap Consulting, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Payroll Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the entire payroll process, from data entry to payment processing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Payroll Processing: Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll, including data entry, calculations, and payments.
  • Payroll Administration: Manage payroll-related tasks, such as employee onboarding, offboarding, and benefits administration.
  • Compliance: Maintain knowledge of relevant payroll laws, regulations, and tax requirements to ensure compliance.
  • Communication: Provide excellent customer service to employees and management, responding to payroll-related inquiries and resolving issues in a timely manner.
  • Analysis: Conduct regular payroll audits to ensure accuracy and identify areas for improvement.
Requirements:
  • Education: Minimum of 3 years of full-cycle payroll experience or 5 years in weekly wages.
  • Qualifications: Relevant tertiary qualification will be advantageous.
  • Skills: Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and business acumen.
  • Experience: Experience in a large, complex payroll department with cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge: Knowledge of SAP payroll system and HR administration systems.
  • Legislation: In-depth understanding of payroll-related taxes and legislation.
