Job Overview

Puma Energy seeks a seasoned commercial leader to spearhead the strategic expansion of its Future Energies business across Africa. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the B2B and retail energy sector, particularly in CNG/LCNG, SOLAR, LPG, and LNG.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Growth Strategy Development: Develop and execute a growth strategy for Puma Energy's Future Energies business, identifying new opportunities and expanding existing ones.
  • Business Development: Drive the prudent growth of Puma Energy's FE business by providing strategic business development opportunities through commercial customers.
  • Team Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing team focused on business development across markets, with clear KPIs.
  • Project Management: Oversee the implementation of all FE-related projects through internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 10 years' commercial experience in the B2B and retail energy sector, particularly in CNG/LCNG, SOLAR, LPG, and or LNG.
  • Experience with utilities, EPCs, and IPPs is preferable.
  • Engineering background or equivalent is preferable.
  • A postgraduate degree in business administration/sales is preferable.
  • Strong commercial acumen and above-average literacy in financials.
