Job Summary:

West Coast Personnel is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Representative to join our Sales Department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong customer relationships, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities through research, networking, and lead generation.
  • Account Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions to drive sales growth.
  • Sales Strategy: Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed sales targets, while adhering to company policies and ethical standards.
  • Communication and Negotiation: Utilize excellent communication and negotiation skills to build trust with customers, negotiate deals, and close sales.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and service, to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies and customer satisfaction.
  • Performance Metrics: Track and analyze sales performance metrics, including sales targets, customer satisfaction, and sales growth, to inform sales strategies and drive business results.

Requirements:

  • Proven Sales Experience: Minimum 2 years of sales experience, preferably in the battery and energy storage industry.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Results-Driven: Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets, with a strong focus on driving sales growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Business Acumen: Strong understanding of business principles, including sales strategies, marketing, and customer relationship management.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in sales software and tools, including CRM systems and sales analytics platforms.
