Job Title: Training & Development Manager

Our client, a leading organization in the industry, is seeking a highly skilled Training & Development Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing a comprehensive training and development framework that ensures a technically skilled and relevant workforce.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Onboarding: Support the roll-out of onboarding programs to ensure a smooth transition for new employees.
  • Individual Development: Build a learning framework that addresses the needs of employees at all levels.
  • Group Training Needs Analysis: Conduct thorough analysis to identify training needs and develop targeted programs.
  • Statutory Training: Ensure compliance with mandatory learning and development requirements.
  • Line Manager Training: Provide training and coaching to line managers to enhance their leadership skills.
  • Leadership Training: Develop and deliver leadership training programs to equip employees with the necessary skills to lead effectively.
  • SETA Management: Manage the administration and continuous maintenance of the training system.
  • BBBEE Management: Lead, develop, and oversee the provision of the organization's BBBEE initiatives.
  • Engagement: Foster a positive organizational culture and values.
  • Wellness: Support the roll-out of wellness activities, including providing training and coaching to all people managers.
  • Reports: Support the design of Employment Equity and SETA reports.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Human Resources or a related field.
  • 5+ years of HR Training and Development experience, preferably in the engineering, production, or software industry.
  • eLearning development/design experience.
  • SETA Management experience.
