About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Warehouse Manager to join our team at E-Merge, a leading consultancy specializing in AI and data analytics. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for enabling future needs for advanced analytics and AI, developing, testing, deploying, maintaining, and supporting new databases, reporting, data warehouse, and business intelligence applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop Business Intelligence solutions that meet high-level business requirements and designs.
  • Contribute to the overall data warehouse architecture and database designs, ensuring scalability and efficiency.
  • Maintain and oversee the administration and maintenance of the data warehouse, ensuring data quality and integrity.
  • Develop and maintain Business Intelligence and reporting technologies and processes, leveraging tools such as Power BI and Advanced MS Excel.
  • Translate stakeholder requirements into technical specifications for Business Intelligence reports and applications, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
  • Design and develop reports and dashboards based on Business Requirements Document (BRD) and customer specifications, using dimensional modeling techniques.
  • Develop feasible technical specifications and process flows for data provision, ensuring data security and compliance.
  • Extract, transform, and load (ELT) data using relevant tools, verifying and quality-assuring data provided.
  • Translate business requirements into workable solutions, documenting solutions into technical specifications.
Requirements
  • Relevant IT and data analytics qualifications, such as B.Tech or B.Sc. (Informatics), are essential.
  • Dimensional modeling and/or relevant Microsoft certification are advantageous.
  • 3-5 years of management experience, leading teams of 5-8 people, is required.
  • Training/qualifications in Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, Power BI, Advanced MS Excel, Star quest, Python, Scala Spark, and AWS Sagemaker are beneficial.
  • Experience with AWS/Azure SQL elastic instance, Data factory, and Power BI is preferred.
  • Solid understanding of metadata constructs and clear understanding of EDW are necessary.
  • Familiarity with data marts and proven data modeling techniques, including Ralph Kimball data warehouse modeling, are required.
  • Advanced knowledge of T-SQL, SSIS, SSAS, and Visual Studio is essential.
