Data Warehouse Manager Job Description

E-Merge is seeking a highly skilled Data Warehouse Manager to lead our team in developing and maintaining a world-class data analytics capability. As a key member of our consultancy, you will be responsible for enabling future needs for advanced analytics and AI.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement Business Intelligence Solutions to drive business value
  • Contribute to the overall data warehouse architecture and database designs
  • Maintain and oversee the administration and maintenance of the data warehouse
  • Develop and maintain Business Intelligence and reporting technologies and processes
  • Translate stakeholder requirements into technical specifications for Business Intelligence reports and applications
  • Design and develop reports and dashboards based on Business Requirements Document (BRD) and customer specifications
  • Develop feasible technical specifications and process flows for data provision
  • Extract, transform, and load (ELT) data using relevant tools
  • Verify and quality assure of data provided

Requirements:

  • Relevant IT and data analytics qualifications (e.g., B.Tech or B.Sc. in Informatics)
  • Dimensional modelling and/or relevant Microsoft certification
  • 3-5 years of management experience leading teams of 5-8 people
  • Training/qualifications in Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, Power BI, Advanced MS Excel, Star quest, Python, Scala Spark, AWS Sagemaker
  • Experience with AWS/Azure SQL elastic instance, Data factory, Power BI
  • Solid understanding of metadata constructs
  • Clear understanding of Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW)
  • Familiarity with data marts
  • Proven data modelling techniques
  • Experience in Ralph Kimball data warehouse modelling
  • Advanced knowledge of T-SQL, SSIS, SSAS, Visual Studio
