Key Responsibilities
  • Manage all aspects of claims handling from start to settlement, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
  • Draft correspondence, research relevant information, and recommend claim outcomes, maintaining a comprehensive view of cases.
  • Conduct inquiries, compile evidence, liaise with stakeholders, and attend to payment processes, ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Possess the legal knowledge to decide on liability, handle various claim types, and draft claim recommendations.
  • Conduct Regulation 8 (bis) inquiries and demonstrate interview and interrogation skills, ensuring the safe custody of gathered evidence.
  • Provide objective, unbiased opinions on matters and maintain a proactive approach to identifying potential irregularities.
Requirements
  • Essential: LLB or relevant law degree, admitted attorney, 34 years post-admission experience.
  • Desirable: Experience in insurance law or claims environments.
