The salary on offer for this position is R 18,000 Cost to Company per month, with opportunities for quarterly performance bonuses based on individual and company performance. Additional benefits include long service leave and discounts on internet packages.

Job Description

">

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Care Manager to join our team at our Southern Suburbs facility. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a vital role in providing ongoing support, guidance, and training to our carer team, ensuring they are motivated and empowered to deliver compassionate care at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Lead, supervise, and inspire our Carer Team to deliver outstanding physical, social, and emotional support to all residents/patients.">
  • Ensure care plans are properly executed and charted on the online internal system.">
  • Monitor compliance with company policies and procedures, ensuring adherence and reporting any non-compliance to the Carer Manager.">
  • Conduct probation assessments and ensure that performance documentation is completed and submitted timeously.">
  • Address disciplinary issues by reporting and investigating incidents, logging them with HR, and issuing necessary outcomes in accordance with the company's guidelines.">
  • Ensure each shift is adequately staffed and that leave requests (annual, sick, or family responsibility) are accurate, submitted promptly, and planned in advance.">
  • Ensure staff are presentable and well-groomed at all times, including wearing correct uniforms.">
  • Conduct direct intervention training and identify any gaps in knowledge or skills within the team, ensuring they are promptly addressed.">
  • Ensure carers respond promptly to call bells, panic buttons, and emergency situations, while also providing assistance to the team with care tasks and activities as needed.">
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate care plans and ensure holistic support for residents/patients.">
  • Participate in the recruitment and onboarding of new carers, ensuring they meet facility standards.">
  • Ensure equipment allocated to staff is securely stored, checked, and accounted for at the end of each shift, and that healthcare inventory supplies are accurately issued and maintained with regular inspections.">

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will possess excellent leadership and managerial abilities, with a proven track record of guiding and supporting teams to achieve exceptional results. You should be highly skilled in time management and organization, with effective task prioritization and management skills.

You should also demonstrate adaptability and flexibility in various situations, with a strong ability to perform under pressure and maintain a professional demeanor at all times.

In addition, you should have clear health, criminal, and credit records, as well as contactable references.

Working Hours and Shifts:

">

This is a night shift position, requiring you to work 16.25 shifts per month, Monday to Sunday from 19h00 until 07h00.
