In this role, you will be working closely with various stakeholders, including clients, brokers, and internal teams, to provide top-notch support and ensure client satisfaction.

Your Key Responsibilities

  1. Handle telephone policy enquiries and take appropriate action.
  2. Process new applications and resolve any outstanding requirements.
  3. Provide enquiry numbers on claims to branches.
  4. Follow-up on outstanding requirements in terms of unpaid claims.
  5. Refer leads to the Direct Marketing Department.
  6. Provide feedback on outstanding accounts and refunds in debtors.
  7. Follow-up on non-payments of premiums, defaults payments and incorrect deductions.
  8. Add a life to a policy.
  9. Add a child to an already existing child benefit.
  10. Remove a life.
  11. Remove child.
  12. Duplicate a policy.
  13. Provide Policy values to a client or their broker.
  14. Record all instances of consent on the system.
  15. Provide policy information to clients with a single policy.
  16. Paid up RSA (reduced some assured).
  17. Inflation.
  18. Reinstatements.
  19. Cessions.
  20. Stop Payments.
  21. Other loans (when you change your payment method).

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Grade 12.
  • 140 long term FAIS credits.
  • 3 years' experience in the Life Insurance Industry.
  • RE5 (advantageous).
  • Experience in a client service policy maintenance environment.
  • Ability to work independently, show initiative and to be responsible.
  • Analytical and leadership skills.
  • Communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Client orientated.
  • Administrative / Management jobs.
