Job Description for Dispatch Clerk at Recruitment Solutions

We are seeking a skilled Dispatch Clerk to join our team at Recruitment Solutions in Cape Town. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of goods and materials throughout our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Shipping and Receiving: Manage and coordinate shipping and receiving procedures, ensuring all relevant paperwork is completed accurately and promptly.
  • Logistics Operations: Organize and schedule shipments and deliveries, using dispatching software or other logistical methods.
  • Customer Service: Communicate with drivers, customers, and vendors to resolve delivery issues or discrepancies.
  • Inventory Management: Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments to verify the quantity and quality of goods, ensuring alignment with order specifications.
  • Records Management: Maintain records of all dispatches, invoices, and shipments to ensure effective tracking and documentation.

Requirements:

  • Matric
  • Relevant work experience as a Dispatch Clerk - minimum 3 years experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong administrative skills
