We are seeking a highly skilled Virtual Desktop Infrastructure Specialist to join our team at ALOS Innovative Workforce Solution (Pty) Ltd. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement VDI solutions using Citrix, VMware, and Microsoft technologies
  • Manage and maintain VDI infrastructure, including servers, storage, and networking
  • Monitor and troubleshoot VDI performance and availability
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and prioritize VDI requirements
  • Develop and implement automation scripts to improve VDI efficiency and scalability
Requirements:
  • 6+ years of experience in VDI infrastructure design, implementation, and maintenance
  • Strong knowledge of Citrix, VMware, and Microsoft VDI technologies
  • Experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell and Python
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • ITIL certification
  • Cloud technologies and cloud providers (Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services)
  • Machine learning (ML) for data analytics
  • Network troubleshooting skills
