Deputy Unit Manager

Hire Resolve is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Deputy Unit Manager to join their team in delivering exceptional healthcare services.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the Unit Manager in overseeing daily unit operations and managing staff, ensuring efficient workflows and high standards of patient care.
- Coordinate patient care activities, ensuring compliance with established standards and protocols, and promoting a culture of excellence.
- Supervise nursing staff, providing guidance and support to promote professional development and enhance patient outcomes.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the implementation of best practices and evidence-based care.
- Monitor patient outcomes, addressing issues promptly to ensure safe and effective care, and collaborating with the healthcare team to optimize patient care.
- Assist in managing the unit budget and resource allocation, ensuring effective use of resources and promoting fiscal responsibility.
- Support in recruitment, training, and performance evaluation of team members, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Registered Nurse qualification with valid SANC registration, demonstrating a strong foundation in nursing practice and leadership.
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in nursing, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role, showcasing leadership and management skills.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members to achieve exceptional patient care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to build strong relationships with colleagues, patients, and families.
- In-depth knowledge of healthcare regulations and quality standards, ensuring compliance and promoting a culture of excellence.
- Proficiency in using healthcare management software and electronic medical records, streamlining workflows and enhancing patient care.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing competing demands.
