At Level-Up, we are seeking a seasoned professional to join our team as a Chief Financial Transaction Officer. This key role involves managing the financial transactions process, ensuring timely payment to vendors and stakeholders, and optimizing processes to minimize errors and improve efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

">
  • Financial Transaction Processing: Timely processing of creditor invoices to facilitate on-time payments to vendors and stakeholders, including intercompany debtors invoices resulting from processing of creditor invoices.">
  • Reconciliation and Review: Reconciling invoices with supplier statements, following up on discrepancies, and reviewing supplier reconciliations of support office clerks.">
  • Accounting Entries: Preparing monthly cashbook entries and reconciling debit card transactions if required.">
  • Banking and Payment Management: Loading payments on the banking platform and printing payment audit reports from the banking portal.">
  • Month-End Close and Team Guidance: Meeting month-end close requirements, guiding the team in optimizing processes, minimizing errors, and improving efficiency.">
  • Audit Assistance and Compliance: Assisting auditors during audits by providing required information and resolving queries, ensuring compliance with group and accounting policies.

Requirements:

  • Diploma in Accounting with relevant operational finance experience.">
  • Minimum 3+ years experience in a similar role.
">

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Financial software proficiency, including QuickBooks and Xero.">
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Teams, Outlook, Excel, and Word.">
  • Solid bookkeeping knowledge with excellent reconciliation skills.">
  • High level of integrity and honesty in handling financial matters, strong work ethic, and attention to detail.">
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and multitask effectively.">
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, and good problem-solving skills.
