**Job Overview:**

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Planning Specialist to join our team at Abantu Staffing Solutions. This role is responsible for providing financial guidance and support to our clients in various industries.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Process transactions into the correct general ledger accounts with high accuracy.
  • Manage cashbook and petty cash, including reconciliations, to ensure financial stability.
  • Reconcile general ledger accounts on a regular basis to identify any discrepancies.
  • Collect outstanding debt from customers and follow up on payments.
  • Approve accounts payable and sign off on first checks.
  • Prepare weekly cash flow forecasts to help our clients stay financially healthy.
  • Prepare VAT returns that withstand audits, ensuring compliance with tax regulations.
  • Manage payroll accounting and provide support during audits.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly management reports and variance analysis to help our clients make informed decisions.
  • Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
  • Support audits and assist in income tax calculations.
  • Collaborate with our clients to compile budgets and provide ad-hoc support as needed.

**Requirements and Qualifications:**

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in an accounting capacity, preferably in manufacturing or automotive.
  • Professional certification in finance, such as CA(SA) or CIMA.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work under pressure.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
