Job Overview

The Technical Learning and Development Trainer plays a vital role in ensuring the success of Tracker's technicians by providing comprehensive training and development programs.

This position requires a highly skilled professional who can identify training needs, develop suitable training material, and facilitate technical training sessions for various stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, maintain, and upgrade specific installation-related training material as needed.
  • Design and deliver installation theory and practical training sessions for all Tracker-employed technicians.
  • Facilitate technical training sessions (theory and practical) for various groups, including installation technicians, quality assurance specialists, and other relevant teams.
  • Plan and conduct refresher training sessions for all technicians to ensure they remain up-to-date with the latest skills and knowledge.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of technical training sessions and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Work closely with the E-learning specialist to implement the Tech Mobile App and monitor training content.
  • Establish and maintain training standards and quality assurance processes within the L&D department.
Minimum Requirements
  • Diploma or degree in Technical Training or equivalent qualification in ODETD Practices.
  • At least 3 years of experience in training and development.
  • Accredited Assessor and/or Moderator qualifications are advantageous.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact with all departments at all levels.
  • Able to work independently, under pressure, and take responsibility for tasks and projects.
  • Motivate team members to achieve their best performance.
