We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Technician to join our team in Cape Town. As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for providing top-notch support for our clients' time and attendance systems, access control, and CCTV installations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional software and hardware support for all our products, ensuring seamless functionality and optimal performance.
  • Manage new installations, service requests, and ongoing customer support to meet the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
  • C coordinate stock collection from service providers and maintain smooth communication with our Head Office for any queries or concerns.
  • Schedule and attend customer appointments for installations, service requests, training, and product demonstrations, fostering strong relationships and ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Deliver timely and efficient service calls and new installations (both hardware and software) within the agreed timeframe, while maintaining profitability.
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve customer queries promptly, following standard escalation procedures as needed.

You will work closely with internal teams to ensure prompt and accurate feedback to customers, while maintaining accurate records of all service issues and activities.

Additional responsibilities include performing onsite networking fault prevention and resolving onsite challenges, preparing detailed and timely reports on activities, installations, and support services.

Requirements:
  • A minimum of 2 years experience in time and attendance, access control, and CCTV field installation is preferred.
  • At least 3 years field support experience in IT or telecommunications, with A and N certification and solid networking expertise.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A valid driver's license and willingness to travel to customer sites.

R700,000 - R800,000 per annum
