CA Financial Appointments is seeking an experienced Risk Management Expert to join their asset protection team as a Senior Risk Analyst. This is an exceptional opportunity for a highly skilled finance professional to contribute to the team's success. The ideal candidate will have at least 8-10 years of enterprise-wide risk management experience within asset management or broader financial services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Head of Risk to develop and implement effective risk management strategies, including IT risk analysis and assessment.
  • Identify and assess risks to IT applications, and develop solutions to mitigate them.
  • Stay up-to-date with worldwide best practices and regulations to ensure compliance.
  • Provide assurance assessments of risk management processes to Internal Audit and Compliance Functions.
  • Educate staff on risk awareness and advise on risk management practices.

Key Requirements:

  • Hold a Honours degree in Commerce, Information Systems, or Risk Management, or CA(SA) qualification.
  • Have 8-10 years of risk management experience in asset management or financial services.
  • Strong analytical, investigative, and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Attention to detail and adaptability.

The successful candidate will be highly analytical and able to communicate complex risk management concepts effectively. With a strong understanding of risk management practices and regulations, they will be able to contribute to the team's success and drive business growth. The estimated salary for this role is around $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
