We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Administrative Credit Specialist to join our team.
Job Function
The successful candidate will be responsible for performing administrative tasks that ensure the accurate and timely payment of creditors. Key performance areas include:
- Delivering work activities according to set standards to satisfy customers
- Executing work activities effectively and efficiently to maximize financial performance
- Attending learning initiatives to improve work quality and enhance own skills
- Owning and living up to company values
- Executing own work according to set operating procedures, service level agreements, and governance and compliance processes
- Planning and organizing own tasks to meet performance targets and adhere to standard operating procedures
- Providing continuous feedback on task delivery to support decision making
- Performing creditors reconciliations, preparing vendor registration transactions, processing and preparing supplier invoices for payment, and preparing and distributing reports
Qualifications and Requirements
We require:
- MATRIC/Grade 12 Diploma (NQF Level 6)
- Up to 3 years of experience in a similar environment
- Behavioural competencies: presenting and communicating information, planning and organizing, delivering results and meeting customer expectations, following instructions and procedures, coping with pressures and setbacks, and working with people
- Technical competencies: basic creditors management knowledge and/or skill, basic reporting knowledge and/or skill, and intermediate administration knowledge and/or skill
- Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook
