About the Role

Junior Achievement South Africa (JASA) is seeking a highly skilled Business Development Executive to join their team in Johannesburg. As a key member of the Executive Management team, this individual will be responsible for developing and implementing the strategic business development plan to drive growth and stakeholder satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Managing Director and Marketing Sub-Committee to develop a growth strategy focused on financial gain and stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Conduct research to identify new markets and stakeholder needs, and prioritize organizations to engage with.
  • Manage and expand various local and international strategic partnership arrangements to support fundraising initiatives and maintain strategic relations with key stakeholders.
  • Provide trustworthy feedback and post-support, and collaborate with the Executive Management team on funding targets, planning, and forecasting.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of business development and marketing experience at a senior level, with a strong understanding of the youth development sector.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Results-oriented and driven by target KPIs, with a high level of computer literacy and experience working across all aspects of media.
