As an Office Manager at Curo Health, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Sanitation Department. Your primary responsibility will be to act as the primary department receptionist, answering incoming calls and providing information to customers and staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Act as primary department receptionist
  2. Answer incoming calls and provide information and/or route calls to appropriate officials
  3. Explain standard department procedures to customers
  4. Place outgoing calls
  5. Assist in procurement of materials and supplies

In addition to these key responsibilities, you will also be responsible for updating the Solid Waste portion of our website as needed, acting as a dispatcher for customer inquiries or complaints, and keeping records for the department. You will also be required to track dumpsters and roll-off containers for monthly billing purposes, act as a cashier using City Accounting software, collect deposits for dumpsters, take payment from customers disposing of trash, electronics, and household hazardous waste, balance cash drawer and print daily report to turn in to Finance Department with all monies received, weigh vehicles in and out and keep record of tonnage collected, bill account and roll-off customers monthly using City Accounting software, type and edit correspondence, reports, memorandums, spreadsheets, graphs, and other materials requiring judgment and accuracy as to content and completeness, coordinate office operations, develop office forms and procedures, code receipts and invoices, and keep spreadsheet of expenditures.

Requirements:
  • Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or twelve to eighteen months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos, ability to write simple correspondence, ability to effectively present information and respond to questions in one-on-one and small group situations
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals, ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs
