Job Title: Shift Supervisor

At Epiroc, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Shift Supervisor to join our team. As a Shift Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of equipment, ensuring that all work is carried out safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and manage maintenance and breakdown staff to ensure that all work is carried out safely and efficiently.
  • Repair of breakdowns and maintenance of equipment to prevent downtime and ensure optimal performance.
  • Ensure that all staff are competent to carry out their duties and that all equipment is properly maintained and repaired.
  • Report any contraventions of standards, legal requirements, or procedures, as well as health and safety hazards, to your immediate supervisor.
  • Oversee and maintain the correct fire risk standards within your area of responsibility.
  • Control your working cost within the set parameters and extension of components' life.
  • Act as a link for the training department in the technical and behavioural training of all your subordinates.
  • Be prepared to act as a coach in the event of training any subordinate to be competent in their appointed tasks.
Requirements:
  • An applicable trade test, Hydraulic Fitter, Electrician, or Millwright.
  • Good technical background and knowledge of Epiroc machines.
  • Computer literate and good communication skills.
  • Customer relations and ability to work shifts.
