Shift Supervisor

As a Shift Supervisor at Epiroc, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of equipment in our mining and infrastructure operations. This is a key role that requires strong leadership and technical skills.

• Supervise and manage maintenance and breakdown staff to ensure efficient and safe operations.
• Repair and maintain equipment to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.
• Comply with relevant standards, procedures, and legal requirements to ensure a safe working environment.
• Report any contraventions or hazards to your immediate supervisor and take corrective action.
• Manage working costs and extend the life of equipment components.
• Act as a coach and mentor to subordinate staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
• Oversee and maintain fire risk standards within your area of responsibility.
• Adhere to all relevant policies, procedures, and engineering standards.

• Applicable trade test in Hydraulic Fitting, Electrical, or Millwrighting.
• Good technical background and knowledge of Epiroc machines.
• Computer literacy and customer relations skills.
• Good communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work shifts and lead a team to achieve company goals.
