Job Summary

Career Custodians is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Travel Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring seamless travel experiences for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Service
    • Provide high-quality customer service to clients, responding to their inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
    • Maintain a high level of product knowledge to effectively communicate with clients and provide personalized recommendations.
  • Travel Planning
    • Plan and book travel arrangements for clients, including flights, accommodations, and activities.
    • Research and recommend destinations, hotels, and activities based on client preferences and needs.
  • Reservations and Confirmations
    • Accurately record and process reservations, ensuring all details are correct and up-to-date.
    • Confirm reservations with clients and suppliers, ensuring all arrangements are in place.
  • Communication and Liaison
    • Communicate effectively with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure seamless travel experiences.
    • Liaise with clients to resolve any issues or concerns, providing solutions and alternatives when necessary.
  • Revenue Growth and Occupancy
    • Work with the sales team to promote and sell travel packages and services, maximizing revenue and occupancy.
    • Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell travel services, ensuring clients receive the best possible value.
  • Operational Efficiency
    • Ensure all travel arrangements are accurately recorded and processed in our systems.
    • Monitor and report on travel trends, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in the travel industry, with a strong understanding of travel operations and customer service.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and internal teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and resolve complex issues.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in travel software and systems, with the ability to learn new technologies quickly.
