Sales Specialist Role

We are seeking an experienced Sales Specialist to join our team at ABB Schweiz AG. As a Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for selling products and systems to customers in a designated market.

Your primary objective will be to achieve both qualitative and quantitative sales targets to ensure sustainable order growth, revenues, profitability, market share, and customer satisfaction.

You will showcase your expertise by identifying and developing new sales opportunities and working closely with cross-functional teams to drive business growth.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Volume and profit: Sell products and services to customers, focusing on volume, fixed, and profitability targets for assigned Business Units/Product Groups.
  • Customer relations: Establish and maintain effective customer relationships to understand customer needs and promote customer understanding of full product/service offering.
  • Sales plans: Prepare sales plans using company tools and perform regular status reviews to propose recovery plans in cases of potential order shortfalls.
  • Sales: Create added value for the customer and ABB by using effective sales techniques and communicating details in accordance with ABB's offering and strategy.

Required skills and qualifications include a National Diploma or Degree in Engineering, minimum 5 years of engineering experience, experience in a mining environment, proficiency in English and Afrikaans (spoken), experience working with Salesforce, and strong electrical and technical background.
