Job Title: Field Sales Specialist

 

Job Summary:

iKhokha is a leading digital payment solutions provider, and we are seeking a highly motivated Field Sales Specialist to join our team. As a Field Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for growing our customer base and driving sales growth in the KZN Zululand Trade/North Coast region.

 

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Prospect and canvass for new customers in targeted areas and industries.
  2. Post-sale calls and follow-ups, logging all activity and demos with clients.
  3. Promotional or new product upsell/cross-sell/service calls.
  4. Research new sales leads, plan country trips, and execute plans to acquire new customers.
  5. Ensure all set company Gross Profit, Device sales, and Demo targets are achieved on a monthly and quarterly basis.
  6. Complete feedback loops as required, including Swarm and demo feedback and HubSpot usage and deal pipeline management.
  7. Provide proactive feedback regarding suggested changes or improvements to sales or service procedures that could improve the business.
  8. Sign-up merchants and assist them with FICA documentation required.
  9. Complimentary follow-up visits.
  10. Full focus on specialized campaigns and reporting in detail on this such as top merchant campaign or area-targeted campaigns.
  11. Uphold company standards and values at all times when representing the brand.
  12. Monitor competition in the marketplace and share any relevant insights.
  13. Take full ownership and accountability for resolving customer complaints by investigating problems, offering solutions, and making recommendations to management.
  14. Maintain professional and technical knowledge through ongoing self and shared learning.

 

Requirements:

  1. Completed Matric.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Minimum 3 years of Field/Outbound Sales experience.
  2. Previous exposure working within merchant services or banking sector is advantageous.
  3. Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
  4. Intermediate knowledge using Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Sales Software & CRM.
  5. FICA training advantageous.
  6. Valid driver's license and own reliable transport is essential.
  7. Candidate must currently be residing in KZN Zululand or the Richards Bay area.

Additional Skills & Knowledge:

  1. Proven track record delivering on sales targets and successfully dealing with customer relationships.
  2. Advanced knowledge of Sales funnel & pipeline management.
