Maternity Unit Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our Maternity Unit as a Unit Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the unit's staffing and scheduling, ensuring adequate coverage at all times, and managing performance and staff development.
Key Responsibilities- Staff Management: Oversee the unit's staffing and scheduling to ensure adequate coverage at all times, and manage performance and staff development.
- Equipment and Supplies: Ensure the unit is properly equipped with necessary medical equipment and supplies, and ensure that all equipment is in good working order.
- Policies and Procedures: Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure that the unit operates in compliance with regulatory requirements, such as those related to patient safety and infection control.
- Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as obstetricians, neonatologists, and anesthesiologists, to ensure that patients receive comprehensive care.
- Patient Care: Oversee patient care, including the management of high-risk pregnancies and complicated deliveries.
- Performance Metrics: Monitor patient outcomes and track key performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and ensure that the unit is meeting quality standards.
- Financial Management: Manage the unit's budget and financial performance, including monitoring expenses and revenue, and identifying opportunities for cost savings.
- Patient Experience: Build and maintain positive relationships with patients, families, and staff, and ensure that the unit provides compassionate and patient-centered care.
