Job Title: Results-Focused Sales Professional for Vibration Monitoring

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced sales professional to join our team as a Sales Engineer in Midrand. This role will focus on technical sales within the vibration monitoring industry.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Understand client requirements for vibration monitoring solutions, leveraging your knowledge of engineering principles and sales techniques.
  • Create innovative solutions to meet clients' needs, working closely with cross-functional teams.
  • Collaborate with engineers to develop feasibility studies, models, and specifications for vibration monitoring hardware and equipment.
  • Enhance existing vibration monitoring processes and designs through collaborative efforts with other engineers.
  • Determine and estimate costs for vibration monitoring projects, including hardware and labor.
  • Familiarize yourself with client-specific design standards and practices for vibration monitoring.
  • Prepare tender documentation, obtain supplier quotes, and establish customer relationships.
  • Assist management with additional tasks as required.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • National Diploma or Degree in Engineering.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and MS Projects.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in sales and vibration monitoring is advantageous.
  • Project Management skills.
  • Ability to understand customer requirements and specifications.
  • Excellent analytical, written, verbal communication, and documentation skills.
  • High degree of computer literacy in MS Office and MS Projects.
  • In-depth deliberation skills with experienced customers.
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
  • Self-motivation and ability to work independently and proactively.
  • Ability to work as an individual and part of a team.
  • Driver's license is essential.

The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary range of approximately R450,000 - R550,000 per annum, commensurate with experience. If you do not hear back from us within two weeks, please consider your application unsuccessful.
