Strategic Diversity and Inclusion Consultant

Mimecast is seeking a seasoned Strategic Diversity and Inclusion Consultant to join its Human Resources Function. This role offers the opportunity to champion diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace and make a meaningful impact on society.
This full-time position reports to the Global Head of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) and forms part of the Employee Experience & Social Impact team. The successful candidate will collaborate with HR Business Partners, Center of Excellence teams, and other functions to support the organization's inclusion journey.
The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with strong attention to detail and administrative planning skills, including project management, event planning, and execution. They should have experience managing impactful Diversity Networks / Employee Resource Groups and a good understanding of HR processes, particularly those related to diversity and inclusion.
This role involves providing hands-on operational support for activities that promote greater equity and inclusion for Mimecast employees. The successful candidate will focus on advancing employee engagement through DEI programming and employee resource groups, while implementing strategies to promote equity and inclusion in HR processes.
A key aspect of this role is supporting the advancement of Mimecast's multi-year Global DEI strategy, targets, and objectives. The successful candidate will manage communications, event planning, and logistics for firmwide DEI programming, including heritage month celebrations and awareness days.
This role requires a fast learner who can work independently and as part of a team, building collaborative relationships and influencing effectively across different levels of an organization. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, HRIS systems, and other applications is essential.
In return for your expertise and dedication, you can expect a competitive salary of $80,000 - $100,000 per annum, depending on your level of experience, as well as opportunities for growth and professional development within a dynamic and inclusive organization.
