Fraud Floor Manager Job Description

At ABC Worldwide, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fraud Floor Manager to join our Central Fraud team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining the operations team, developing the department, and ensuring the effective management of risk and fraud mitigation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise the general operations of the teams, ensuring efficient and effective management of resources.
  • Act as an escalation resource for cases requiring in-depth investigation and knowledge, providing expert guidance and support.
  • Assist with risk responsibilities and obligations, including the development, performance, and maintenance of processes.
  • Contribute to the achievement of complete risk management systems, in accordance with organisational plans and adherence to legislation and regulatory bodies' processes.
  • Meet set targets personally and for the team, driving performance and excellence.
  • Collaborate with the department Trainer to develop and deliver training programs, enhancing team skills and knowledge.
  • Conduct regular team feedback sessions, monitoring progress and providing guidance and support.
  • Monitor team performance, KPIs, and SLAs, motivating the team to achieve goals and objectives.
  • Provide advice, guidance, and support to team members, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Assist in the recruitment of team members, ensuring the selection of high-calibre candidates.
  • Train and appraise individual team members, ensuring targets are met and skills are developed.
  • Groom the team in all process areas, expanding their knowledge base and capabilities.
  • Regularly report and escalate team progress and concerns to Management.
  • Allocate work based on business and management requirements, ensuring tasks are recorded, performed, and updated.
  • Ensure adherence to all internal process documents and policies.
  • Document and communicate personal improvement discussions with team members to Management and the individual.
Requirements:
  • Experience working in an eCommerce business, with a strong understanding of risk and fraud mitigation.
  • Experience in handling and mentoring people, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Effective business decision-making skills, with the ability to think critically and solve problems.
  • Excellent computer proficiency, with expertise in MS Office applications.
  • Leadership experience, with a proven track record of managing teams and driving performance.
  • Ability to work in different shifts and environments, with a flexible and adaptable approach.
  • Grade 12 or equivalent, with a strong educational background.
